Every year you will receive formal feedback about your child’s progress in the autumn, spring and summer term. We hold parent consultations termly (although the summer term consultation is only for parents who have specific concerns relating to their child’s end of year report) and you’ll have the opportunity to raise concerns during these meeting. The end of year school report details your child’s progress, attitude to learning and gives you national average performance guidelines so you can see how your child is performing in relation to national expectations.
However, if you have any concerns about your child’s academic or social development you can request an additional appointment to talk to your child’s teacher. Teacher appointments can be made from 3.30-4.00pm on a Wednesday afternoon by contacting the office and requesting a time slot. If the Wednesday time slot is not convenient the school office may be able to schedule another time for a meeting or a telephone call.
If, after talking to your child’s class teacher, you still have concerns then please request an appointment with the deputy or head teacher by contacting the school office.
