SCHOOL ATTENDANCE

Class

Week ending:

23.6.17

Please note any children arriving in school after 9.15 a.m. will be marked in the register as an ‘unauthorised absence’. This may then trigger a meeting with the school’s Educational Social Worker (ESW) to discuss punctuality.

DINNER MONEY ARREARS

Some families are showing a large debt for dinner money (more than 2 weeks owed). You will be receiving texts this week to let you know what you owe. Debts need to be paid asap, otherwise, children will have to go onto packed lunch until the debt is cleared.

SPORTS AFTERNOONS

Light rain is forecast at some points this week but we will go ahead with KS1 and KS2 sports afternoons unless the rain is really heavy. The next few weeks are very busy so we would be unable to reschedule either event if they are cancelled this week. Fingers crossed we’ll have the dry parts of the days!

MUSIC FESTIVAL

Macintosh HD:Users:jeanetteadak:Desktop:IMG_1475.jpgThank you to Key Stage 2 choir for a fantastic performance as a choir and as part of the massed choir at the Music Festival last Thursday evening. A special mention goes to Hannah who was selected to play the role of ‘Amor’ the goddess of love in the opera section of the performance-she was fantastic!

A huge ‘thank you’ to Mrs Folan for working with the choir to produce such great performances.

NSPCC DANCE-A-THON

All classes will be completing their Dance-a-thon today. Please return sponsor forms with donations by Monday 3rd July. Many thanks for your support.

BOOKING ‘AS AND WHEN’ AFTER SCHOOL CLUB PLACES

Please remember that if you want to book an ‘as and when’ After School Club place, you must book before 1.00 p.m. on the day you require the slot. After School Club is very busy now and we need to ensure we have the correct level of staffing for the number of children. If you ring after 1.00 p.m., there may not be a place available.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB PRICE RISE FROM SEPTEMBER 2017

The price of After School Club will rise to £8.00 per session (£7.00 for siblings) from the start of the new term in September. Breakfast Club price per session will remain the same.

PARENTPAY

After lengthy research, we have decided to use ParentPay from September for all payments to school. This will include all trips, dinner money, Breakfast and After School Club payments. If you are unable to pay online, we can provide you with a code so that you can make the payments in cash at local shops e.g. the Post Office or wherever there is a ‘Paypoint’ sign.

We will not be taking any cash through the office from September apart from Rainbow Days and Charity events.
