Please note any children arriving in school after 9.15 a.m. will be marked in the register as an ‘unauthorised absence’. This may then trigger a meeting with the school’s Educational Social Worker (ESW) to discuss punctuality.

RECORDER VACANCIES

Miss Porzi has two spaces in  her recoder groups for January. If your child would like to take up recorder, please speak to Sue in the office before the end of term.

 

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

Thank you for your support on Christmas Jumper Day. We raised £-- for Save the Children.

 

CHRISTMAS POST BOX

Please make sure all envelopes have a name and class on the front and a surname initial, if more than one child has the same name.  The mail will be delivered once a day by our lovely Y6 helpers until Wednesday.

Please let the office know if your child would like a place for January. Please send in £3 on the first session only.

Anyone who has requested, but hasn’t been offered a space in January, will stay on the waiting list for the club after the February half-term break.

 

DINNER MONEY FOR NEXT HALF-TERM

If you would like to pay for the whole of the next half-term the cost will be £58.05 (27days X £2.15= £58.05). Otherwise, weekly payments need to be made in advance every Monday morning (£10.75 per week).Please make all cheques payable to ‘Monkfrith School’. Thank you.

We do not have the new menus yet.  We have been told Sausages and chicken drumsticks will have a choice of Halal meat. More information to come in the new year.

Monday 19th December: 9.30 a.m. Christmas concert (Y1-6) Everyone welcome.

Monday 19th December: 2.30 p.m. Reception Nativity (Choir from Y3 and Y6 to support in song). For all Reception families and choir families, if they wish to come along.

Tuesday 20th December: 9.30 a.m. Reception Nativity (Choir from Y4 and Y5 to support in song). For all Reception families and choir families, if they wish to come along.

Wednesday 21st December: 9.30 a.m. Christmas concert (Y1-6) Everyone welcome.

Wednesday 21st December: 2.00 P.M. SCHOOL CLOSES FOR THE END OF TERM. NO AFTER SCHOOL CLUB.

New term starts on Thursday 5th January at the usual time.
