PARKING

Please do not park across our neighbours’ driveways. The same person keeps doing it in the cul-de-sac part of Brookside South when collecting from the Key Stage 1 playground. Kim and Zoe are very tired of having to speak to extremely irate neighbours regarding parents’ parking.  It really does aggravate our neighbours unnecessarily, so please, please park considerately

SCHOOL PHOTO ORDERS

The photo orders are being collected on Friday 17th November, so please make sure your orders are in school by 9am on that date.  Late orders will be returned.

VOUCHER PAYMENTS FOR BREAKFAST AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

Thank you for your patience whilst ParentPay was set up. Please could parents who pay by vouchers either email or send in a paper copy for our records. Thank you very much –Mrs Costas.

DROPPING OFF FOR BREAKFAST CLUB

As Breakfast Club is becoming very busy now we would like to avoid congestion on Knoll Drive. From tomorrow you may park in the staff car park when dropping off BETWEEN 7.45am & 8.20am and walk up the steps to the side entrance of the dining room. If you are not driving, you can still walk through the car park to BC if you wish.   If arriving after 8.20am please do not park in the car park, use the main entrance as usual.  For parents/children who enter by the Knoll Drive door, the signing in book will be in Breakfast Club not at the Reception desk.

BE BRIGHT BE SEEN DAY-Friday 17th November

Nights are drawing in and mornings are getter darker so we are thinking about making sure we are seen easily especially by car drivers. Children and staff can wear their brightest clothes to school on Friday 17th November-including bright trainers/shoes. So dig out your brightest clothes-if you have anything fluorescent even better! Let’s make a big splash of colour together.

A MESSAGE FROM PCSO BURDA

Dear All,

The Ward crime stats for last month are below. We had 16 burglaries and 15 motor vehicle offences last month which is up considerably on the previous month. It is unfortunately usually the case that crime rises as the days shorten and Christmas approaches. It is therefore a good time to remind everyone to take a look at our crime prevention advice at this link -

https://www.met.police.uk/crime-prevention/

Also if you are wondering why you haven't seen many officers recently, over the past two weeks every Safer Neighbourhood PC and PCSO in London has been working only late shifts to coincide with half term, Halloween and Bonfire Night. Therefore we have been mainly active in the evenings under the cover of darkness. After a final midnight finish tomorrow night we will be back to normal from Monday.

Regards,

Justin

-          TOYS – including soft toys, games and/or general toys

-          PRESENTS – we will have a ‘Present Room’ for the children to go in and pick out a present for an adult in their life, whether it be their parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle etc. They will have the opportunity to wrap the present (with our helpers) to give as a gift during the holidays. These presents can be candles, picture frames, mugs, boxes of chocolate etc.
